In Yemen today, nearly 11 million people are experiencing high levels of food insecurity. The country teeters on the brink of famine once again, with displaced individuals being four times more vulnerable to hunger than the rest of the population. Approximately 62% of them have reported having to reduce their meals.

The crisis has significantly impacted women in the country, negatively affecting their circumstances and rights. Yemeni women have faced numerous challenges and hardships, including insecurity, food and healthcare shortages, and economic deterioration. Suddenly, women find themselves solely responsible for entire households, struggling to provide for their children in the absence of opportunities.
